In February 2000 Energis approached RWA to assist them in the development of a ‘Session
Server’. Energis had successfully won a contract for Thomas Cook to provide an IP based network infrastructure for Cook’s 800 UK retail travel outlets. Part of the solution involved providing a centralised menu system that would enable onward connection to any of the 100 or so UK Tour Operator systems.
