Technical Architecture Review
RWA have recently undertaken a Technical Architecture Review for Rothschild Asset Management. This review looked at the technical design for Internet based services and, based on our previous experience, RWA were asked to comment on tools, technologies and approaches. The review examined the following :-
- Overall scaleability of the architecture
- The ability of the proposed platform(s) to handle the anticipated loading
- Resilience against network, server or software component failure
- Load balancing
- Options for remote administration
- Overview of security issues, including firewall configuration
