New AA Getaways Site Goes Live

AA Getaways The Automobile Association has launched a new AA Getaways web site that is ‘powered by Sell-It’. AA Getaways is the travel brand of the UK Automobile Association which has over 15 million members.

The site is the result of a collaboration between the AA, Great Getaways, RWA, Jellybean and CX partners to design and implement a functionally rich web site that is also quick and easy to use. The site, which was implemented by RWA based on designs delivered by Jellybean and CX partners makes extensive use of RWA’s Sell-It Suite Widget Toolkit.

AA GetawaysRWA worked with the AA, Great Getaways and their partners to design, implement and deliver a new travel site offering short breaks and holidays to Europe and beyond. AA Getaways works with travel providers and hoteliers to bring amazing value on quality breaks to top destinations around the world. These include Eurostar deals, city breaks, beach breaks, holidays or Europe via ferry or Eurotunnel.

The new web site has real-time links for Eurostar and Eurotunnel, a number of ferry companies and scheduled and low cost carriers.

It makes extensive use of RWA’s Widget Toolkit to provide dynamic offers and other promotional features which are specific to the particular destination or product being viewed.

AA Tabbed Offers

The content on the site is managed in Sell-It’s CMS and Is delivered dynamically to the web site upon demand. The site is also hosted by RWA as part of a full Facilities Managed hosting service which also includes near real-time disaster recovery facilities.
